what are custom skins/templates?
When you have a template built specifically for you, and no one else is using that design, it is 'custom built'.
You can either guide me with the design factor to suit your needs, or you can leave it my hands to hand build you a site based on various requirements you may have stipulated, or directories that you have seen you have liked. I'll build it as close as possible to your vision.
You can define separate templates for the various categories of your web directory. You might like your Leisure category to look different to your Auto category, or maybe give the illusion of multiple directories by the way you set your categories up & their associated templates.
With a custom directory build I can make your directory blend into the rest of your site seamlessly. Your directory will look like it is another dimension of your website, and not an added on feature.
I will design your directory template to adhere to accessibility standards using valid code (XHTML/WAI/CSS/508). By utilising my skills and ideas, in combination with your visions, your directory can be designed pretty much the way you want.

I go that one step further with my custom built directories. I'll set up your database & install your directory for a fee on either yours or our server, and I'll stick around to make sure that I have you running properly! I'll help you find where everything is in the directory and help you with advice on the premium way to operate it.
I also give you a month to test drive your directory! You have 30 days from the time the directory goes live to advise of any changes. This should give you time to find text you might want to change, or script configurations you would like altered.
