title= [ Being Environmentally Responsible ]
By now most people would have heard about Global Warming. Al Gore recently recieved acclaim for his documentary An Inconvenient Truth, which further opened peoples eyes to this global problem.
".... we can no longer afford to view global warming as a political issue - rather, it is the biggest moral challenges facing our global civilization." - Al Gore
A major contributor to the level of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere is the business sector. However, we're unable to operate our businesses without electricity. So Attitude e-media has decided to invest in better operations that will nullify it's contribution to Global Warming, and our impact on the environment. We have begun this journey by choosing green energy to power our business premises & residences!
{ on/off: running on natural power }
Attitude e-media is committed to doing all we can to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. So therefore we invested in running our infrastructure on NaturalPower, which is an energy that is generated from renewable sources with minimal impact on the environment. These are sources that cannot be depleted or can be replaced, such as solar and wind. Generating renewable energy produces no greenhouse gas and therefore has minimal impact on the environment.
NaturalPower is sourced from renewable energy, which produces no greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, by choosing NaturalPower you are reducing greenhouse gas emissions and contributing to a healthier environment.
{ conserve: what is renewable energy? }
Put simply, greenhouse gas emissions contribute to global warming. Global warming occurs when there is a build up of greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere. The gases trap the heat from the sun, much like a locked car on a hot day, leading to an increase in the earth's temperature. Just a one-degree rise in the Earth’s temperature can have a major impact upon life on this planet.
Renewable energy is power generated from sources such as the wind, water (hydro electricity), sun (solar photovoltaic), and biomass (eg landfill gas from rubbish tips, or the burning of specially grown crops). Renewable energy has much less impact on the environment than the generation of traditional fossil fuel power, such as coal or gas, as no greenhouse gases are emitted.
Attitude e-media is using a 100% combination of solar & wind power.
